Default PLO200: J988 on T72r

PLO200 4-handed.

Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and $178. All the villains are fairly aggressive and donkish, though not enough sample size for 4-handed play.

UTG is on my buddy list for being 68/40/1.17 and has $435.
BTN has $210 and is somewhat loose and pasive.
SB has $280 and he stacked off with KKxx overpair to my FH on paired board recently on another table.

UTG raises to $7, BTN calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($28)

2 checks, UTG pots $28, BTN folds, SB raises to $112, Hero raises to $178...???

Or is this draw not good enough to get it in on a rainbow board probably 3-way?

Standard, although I would be tempted to call rather than raise, you have no real reason to get UTG out of the pot.
Although the argument for raising is you might end up allin vs QJ98 having made middle set fold. I wouldn't fold here.

The other argument for raising is you might drive out a hand that will turn a lot of your wins into chops. But generally you'd rather have the extra money in than worry about that.

Thank you for your comments.

I was up against UTG's 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and SB's A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] so my EV was only 0.187 instead of the ~0.32 I needed because UTG had some of my straight outs and it was mostly gonna be a split if I won anyway.

I guess the times when I'm up against two sets or a set and something lame compensate that.

lol no, I didn't. not that it matters really besides a few virtual benjamins changing hands.
