Default 5/10- 20bring in@turningstone

It's a 5/10 blind and 20$ bring in(limp in=20$ even tho blinds are 5/10) game. The table is 9 handed. Just bought in for 2k 1 orbit before.

UTG+1 is Al Krux, he makes it 60 to go(seems 50-60 is standard for the table but not sure if 60 is standard from him)

Loooose player next to act calls. I'm next with JhJd and call as well. Cutoff calls, Button calls and the blinds fold. 5-way action.

Flop is 8s 6h 4c
Krux checks, loose player fires 125, I call and the two others fold. So we see the turn 3 way.

8s 6h 4c 8c

Krux fires out 400, loose guy folds, what do you put Al Krux on here? What's the play?

more to come

I didn't want to try to isolate because there are 5 people in this hand and I'm 3rd to act. Sure my hand is vulnerable here, but it's not nearly strong enough to raise 5-way.

anyway, what's ur turn play/Krux's hand?

87 seems reasonable for him. Either that, or he gambles that both initial bettor and you have 76/65/54 AND will fold.

I like the preflop call. Don't like the flop call though. You need to squeeze Krux here...gives him a chance to make a big mistake and fold QQ+. And obv you'd isolate loose player who will usually be crushed by your hand. If you made it $500 straight on the flop and got called, you'd be beat the vast majority of the time so you could give up on the turn.

As played, Krux's bet is either a blocker w/ QQ+ or a brilliant fake block trying to induce a push from an 8 when he's holding 44/66. I'm inclined to call & fold to a big bet on the river.

If you think Krux lays down 87/89/8T to a shove then I think you have enough equity to make the play as his calling range would have to be almost exclusively 44/66.

u call, whats so hard?

edit: krux sucks and could have a wide range here and could also be making some dumb semi bluff.

I'm confused...there are 5 people in this hand BECAUSE you didn't attempt to isolate. Even if Al comes along you are 3 handed with position with a hand that rates to be the best.

Hes straight up awful. I was in this game and examples of hands for him.

Limps 23o utg, overcalls bet on J82 flop.
Has 77 in sb. Flop QJ5 2d a bet and a call in front of him and he also calls.

As for this hand I thought it was a really easy call down. Krux is pretty terrible and the way he was playing he would def lead this flop with an 8.

Edit: Also he had J10o one hand, limp called a raise utg and cr'd a 1043 r flop. Turn was a J and he potted and the other player folded an obv overpair. I kind of LOLed when krux said something like "I would have had to slow down if I didnt turn that J". LOL live pros.
