Default Macdonald played enough games to win gold glove?

He has only appeared in 92 games and has only 235 at bats. He will probably play the rest of the Jays games which should give him just below 400 at bats for the year and ~130 games played. Is this enough action for him to be considered for the gold glove. He is without a doubt the best defensive player in the game in my opinion for any position.

Did they put in a games played clause after the Palmiero fiasco?

But writers don't know who he is, and he doesn't hit, so he can't win the Gold Popularity Contest with Award in the Shape of a Glove.

The americans prob don't even know who mcdonald is =p, Hes on daily highlight reals up in Canada. But ESPN probably shows like one a month of him.

Hes great defensively, but average-below average hitter.

I've been impressed with McDonald everytime I watch him play. I can't think of any other SS in the AL I'd vote over him.
