Default Excuse me Sir, did that horseshoe drop out of your ass?

Played a little Hold'em tonight. The best game I've ever played in.

Villain, BB ~$700
UTG ~$800
Hero, CO ~$375

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG raises to $16, Hero calls, 2 folds, Villain calls
Note: This was the way game normally played. Pots were made big preflop, so that Villain would be all-in sooner. Villain was happy to go all-in with any pair (bottom with no kicker) or any draw. Even gutshot for ~200BB stacks was good.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villains checks, UTG bets $32, Hero calls, Villain raises to $72, UTG calls, Hero goes all-in, Villain calls, UTG folds.
Note: I was most likely holding the best hand, but AK worried a little so I just opted to call. When Villain minraises I know 100% he doesn't have anything. Perhaps a gutshot, flushdraw or weak ace. Because UTG just calls (AK he would shove) I know I have the best hand so I shove.

Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

River: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero shows AQ for teh [censored]
Villain shows 77 for pure nuts and rakes in ~775 or somewhat.

Also some other sweet 1k'ish pots in NL200.
1) We have ~300BB effective stacks. 4-way to the flop, pot around ~150. Flop is JT6o. Villain open shoves with J9o for ~450, others fold, Hero calls with KK. Villain turns 9. River blanks and Villain ships ~1k pot. GG, FU, I reload.
2) Hero check-raises with AJ on J98 flop. 98 are suited. Villain calls. Turn A. Hero open-shoves a pot-sized bet for 250 dollars. Villain calls with AQ. River is a T. GG.
3) Hero raises ~potful on preflop with 44. Villain calls. Flop JJ2. Villain checks, Hero bets 3/4 pot. Turn 5 which adds flush draw. Villain checks, Hero bets a potful. Villain calls. River is J. Villain checks, Hero shoves for value while putting him on a 2. Villain calls and shows T5.

... and about 5 others major [censored]. Not worth mentioning though.

Others raked in ~3k profits. I didn't get to break even.

Result:

As Prahlad Friedman would say...
"Poker is fun, for everyone..."

but this time I should've practised avoidance. :-(

10:02AM. It's a new day tomorrow. And tomorrow I'm going to piss on Jesus' crucifix and slay innocent kittens. Until then...
