Default AQ flops top 2 with resistance

Fairly standard spot, no reads since I just sat down. Just curious as to what lines people take.

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $50.50
BB: $46.26
UTG: $16.07
CO: $38.00
Hero (BTN): $25.25

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.00, SB calls $0.90, BB folds

Flop: ($2.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.00, SB raises to $5.25, Hero?

I push. Only thing that beats you is AA,QQ (unlikely) and sets..

You'll often see vilain fold his draw.

You're ahead of basically everything but 88. I Kind of like a call here to hopefully get more money in the pot on the turn.

I don't like to call here.. flush draw is out there as well as a straight draw. I think I push here.

i prob push here, but if you fancy gambling (on no spades) and hoping he's got a hand that pays you off when the flush doesn't hit (AK) then a call is an interesting play. but think i get the money in on this hand asap, so... push

Push. This isn't the board to get trappy on. Save the fancy plays for when you have a read and the board is good.

I don't think he has a draw very often at all unless he's trying to do that raise to freeze you up and see two cards for free (unless it's something like KQ/JT of spades).

I think you have 65% equity at the very least.

You are almost a 3:1 favorite against:
AA,QQ,88,AJs+,A8s,KsQs,KsJs,JsTs,AJo+,A8o
