Default Pre flop, PL 10, raise or limp pre flop?

New here....

No reads on the table...

I figured raising preflop was better then limping. Your thoughts?

On the flop should I lead for a pot size bet to rep the Q?
I didn't becuase I wasn't heads up.

Flame away, I have to get better at this game... I haven't learned to hate it yet.

thanks
~loose

Good raise preflop. Standard check fold after the flop. You have no reason to carry on with the hand after it comes QQ7.
You're playing at a limit where it's all about the showdown value of your cards. No point bluffing because lots of people play these limits for fun, they don't care enough about a dollar to fold to your bluff.

I like the preflop raise... after two Queens fall on the flop, check/fold for anything other than a min (10c) bet.

preflop is good. betting this flop is crazy, good check. fold the turn you don't beat anything and your draw sucks.

i don;t like the pre-flop raise. It does not make any sense to me. I may raise with it UTG or something to throw some people off if I hit the hand, but raising in that sitation has no value, to me. Call and see what happens.

Preflop raise is fine. You get a few ace-x suited folds occasionally, and build a pot with a premium hand. Also players might assume he has aaxx or kkxx. This means getting stacks.
