I'd have played it the same, maybe reraised him all in on the flop but pushing him in on the turn is still good. nh

I would have bet $1 on the flop, but that's because that's what I usually do with c-bets. Maybe even exact pot due to his stack.
Then when he min-raises you on the flop it's easier to just put him all-in there. |

flop is an easy shove, this guy has a 1/2 BI and isn't going anywhere.

Agreed, shove flop. If he had a bigger stack you could consider otherwise, but given stack sizes, shove flop.
