Re: 6.50 i want to hero call hu vs. bizzarre line
Reads would be nice. Especially since guys can never have an ace here because of preflop. Guys don't really overbet bluff shove though. I probably fold.

Re: 6.50 i want to hero call hu vs. bizzarre line
i would fold. lots of 6.50 players could of limped in a weak ace here, or they could have tens. You have plenty of chips to wait for a better spot

I would assume he would PSB to bluff here. I mostly fold for a better spot.

Re: 6.50 i want to hero call hu vs. bizzarre line
I fold here. If he is making a play and beat you that's fine, because he'll almost certainly try and make another fancy play and you'll know what's up next time. And if he was overbeting a good hand than you'll probably not see this again. In conclusion, if you miss this opportunity you've either avoided disaster or will have another chance at him.

Re: 6.50 i want to hero call hu vs. bizzarre line
My guess is he has something like K5, or a busted straight draw. But I wouldn't risk my whole stack to find out. I fold.

Re: 6.50 i want to hero call hu vs. bizzarre line
first of all i don't understand what the converter did with your hand
you are on the button, which should be the small blins - but preflop "BB calls 150"??? and you are the first to act on every street??? so this makes no sense if you are on the button with 89o i'd call the BB and bet on the flop to see where i stand. as played turn bet is fine, but river has to be a fold i think - most of the time you will face a T (much more unlikely a slowplayed A). if you are in the BB i usually raise this preflop, if i get called and have this flop i bet out on the flop representing an A. if i'm called or reraised i'm done with the hand. __________________________________________________ ________ btw [ QUOTE ] My guess is he has something like K5, or a busted straight draw. But I wouldn't risk my whole stack to find out. I fold. [/ QUOTE ] but that would be a major error. if you came after evaluating the play to the conclusion you are in front (against a busted draw or K5) you have to call. exactly that is playing good poker - if you have analyzed a situation, find a solution for you than you have to act accordingly and risk your whole stack - otherwise you won't ever be a good poker player. |

TT for the win. I play it the same and check/fold the shove on the river most of the time.
