Default AK (NL50) is my line too strong?

No reads, I figure if i'm betting anything besides All-in, i'm calling a river shove anyway.

Seat 1: <font color="#000000">UTG</font> ($41,25)

you don't have to shove, you can still bet 10 and villain will have a little less than a psb left, plenty enough to play on the river

im personally prefer a raise to at least $5 pf since he minraised. as played, you can bet a hair more on the flop. just bet the turn for like $12 and shove river.

Shoving here just folds out hands that you wish would call and stacks yourself when you're beaten.

You say that you plan on stacking off anyway, but that still doesn't address the first problem.

Make a normal bet of $10 here.

Raise more pre-flop to reduce his implied odds.
Bet more on the flop.
As for the turn, bet about $13. This causes him to make a bad call with a flush-draw and may extract more value from Ax.
