25NL - 44 - cbet flop against 2?
o reads on UTG but MP is 37/10/0.86 over 91 hands, and is pretty loose.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) CO ($8.90) Hero ($39.35) SB ($15.20) BB ($39.15) UTG ($7.35) MP ($50.55) Preflop: Hero is Button with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls $0.25, MP calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1.5, 2 folds, UTG calls $1.25, MP calls $1.25. Flop: ($4.85) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG checks, MP checks, Hero ??? I thought my cbets were pretty solid but I've been noticing lately that in a few hands posted here where I would have cbetted, the general concecus is for checking instead. That's why I thought I'd ask about this hand. |

Re: 25NL - 44 - cbet flop against 2?
I dont continuation bet in this hand. The issue with this hand is that it hit alot of ranges. One of these players it is very likely for them to have a queen or jack, st8 draw, or flush draw. Also with the paired board, alot of players will automatically play back against you as semi bluffs without the queen since they think you will fold AA/KK here. Along with UTG being that short, I dont CB here since you obv would have to call his push.
If they are both 100bb stacks, it could be a CB depending on how your image is. For me I dont in this particular hand. |

I agree with Perk76, c-bets pretty worthless here and you're almost sure to get called or imo - c/r'd off the hand. If you check behind you still have the opportunity to fill up with a miracle 4 and win a big pot.
The only other thing would be timing tells (if any) and your own feel for your opponents, which may change this into a fine c-bet, but as a rule I think you could check behind fairly standardly. |
