Default The best french fries

With all the recent food threads I got to thinking about the best fries I've had, including "higher quality" chain restaurants like Friday's. To this day I think the potato wedges at KFC are the best, but I think it's time for OOT to settle this once and for all.
Note: I did a search and did not find any "best fries" threads, so this thread is mandatory.

I'm sure most will disagree strongly with this, but I like McD's the most.

I can not for the life of me remember the restaurant name, but I got some steak and frites here in the lou, and the fries were done in duck fat, there is nothing close.

"Local place no one else cares about" is actually a great answer because inevitably a couple of people post it anyway even though nobody can relate or remotely give a sh*t.

Klompy, co-sign on McDonalds.

The answer obviously is going to be "other" or "local place nobody cares about". I enjoy McD and BK about the same. Wendy's are garbage.

Local place with spicy curly fries FTW.

This is a no-brainer. If McD doesn't run away with this, all hope is lost in OOT.
