Default Sending ID documents to Poker sites for verification

Is it standard for poker sites to request the items unedited?

Or can u black things out such as your photo/ document numbers?

Er, answering both those questions 'yes' does not make much sense.

Not necessarily. Poker sites can ask for things unedited, but accept it if you do black out some personal information.

I had my ID stolen by an employee of Wells Fargo when I refi'ed my home a few years and it was awful. So when I first had to submit docs I blacked out key numbers and then saved them all as a file that I have reused a few times. And even though the docs are now kind of old, they have still been accepted.

The majority of sites request ID docs almost always. If you use a credit/debt card you will have to provide proof of ownership of the card. You can always blackout sensitive info on bills/IDs like SS# and account numbers that don't have anything to do with the card used to deposit.

These sites just want to know that you are who you say you are. If you aren't comfortable with certain info being seen, black it out. At worst they will ask for you to resend with X info not blacked out.
