Villain in this hand is #1pen. Don't know a whole lot about him except that he plays a lot of mtts and big buyin sngs. Later on he posted this hand on p5s, and basically everyone disagreed with me.

Seat 1: xthesteinx (13355 in chips) Seat 2: #1PEN (6286 in chips) Seat 3: 4digit (6900 in chips) Seat 4: gunning4you (8620 in chips) Seat 5: djk123 (26213 in chips) Seat 6: blur5f6 (10073 in chips) Seat 7: scarface_79 (20309 in chips) Seat 8: t soprano (13680 in chips) Seat 9: hockey4444 (11542 in chips) Everyone antes 50. gunning4you: posts small blind 300 djk123: posts big blind 600 Dealt to djk123[? ?] Folded to #1PEN on the cutoff.. #1PEN: raises 5636 to 6236 and is all-in 4digit: folds gunning4you: folds djk123: ? |

Re: $100r calling range hand
A8s+/A9o+/KJs+/KQo/55+/QJs
Disclaimer: this was done with no pokerstoving or any math whatsoever. Just my gut, and I'm curious to see how far off it is. |

Re: $100r calling range hand
He'd have to be pushing insanely tight for that range to be right.

As you can see, I really need help with these standard range questions, because I'm usually fairly off. |

[/ QUOTE ] Not really sure what you mean, but just make up a shoving range and then see how much equity the bottom hands of your calling range has vs the shoving range. Play with the shoving range until the bottom hands have whatever equity% you need. By the way in this case we need 42.6% not 46%. |
