($27) KK flops an overpair early
Early, no real reads but CO seemed OK (ie. he didn't have a VPIP of 40%+ which is pretty common in the $27s on weekends).

Re: ($27) KK flops an overpair early
I check/call the river:
There are 5 pairs that did not hit a set and he might bet them for value, he might bluff with a busted draw. Bet more on the turn, he can't have a T otherwise he will be raising you on the flop. If he has 44 or 55 that's fine. |

Re: ($27) KK flops an overpair early
I might bet a little more on the flop to protect against the draws. OOP sucks, but I might check the turn to try to keep the pot small. As played, if you check and he pushes the river, you are in a tough decision. If he checks behind on the turn, you can value bet the river.

Re: ($27) KK flops an overpair early
bet a bit more on the flop, 210-230 looks better.
in this spot, if he has a ten, there is not a lot u can do. it is not like you are getting to a cheap showdown. plus a ten would raise the flop a lot of the time. so i just keep betting, but make it a bit more on the turn. i dont think villian is gonna put you on a ten (you opened for 120 plus two of them on board). on the river, i fire again. i dont think villian will bluff a missed draw much and you can still get value out of 66-99 which makes up a good chunk of villians range. |

Re: ($27) KK flops an overpair early
the T isnt a very good card but i am too scared to miss out on a lot of river value in this spot with KK, so i bet again generally. Id also bet more on the flop.
