Lets say hes checking JJ-KK and AK/Crap once in a while. You are ahead of JJ, maybe of TT. There are only 3 combos of KK and 1 of QQ. AK calls here probably 95% of the time. recapitulated: I think there is more value in a check

If you have no reason to think he's 3 betting light why are you calling this preflop?

His hand looks like KK-1010, to me as AK or AQ would have bet the flop. His turn call means he doesnt have a monster.

I don't know If I like it or not, you should get KK JJ and 1010 to fold here but will he fold those hands?

1st of all, i don't like the call of the 3bet OOP against a TAG. i don't think it is profitable.

the turn bet is reasonable, but you are trying to bluff off pocket pairs below kings. it may work, but i think that if he is checking behind with a pair, he is in calldown mode and is trying to keep the pot small.

he also should know that you will try and bluff the turn trying to get him to fold. i think it is good if you bet the river when you miss, because he is unlikely to call a double barell with an underpair.

when you hit the Q on the river your equity has increased quite alot, so there is no point in bluffing, and you are not getting any value in bluffing as JJ and below are not calling a river bet, so i would check, and call a small river bet

i'd check the river here...i'm not sure if i'd call though, because of the KK/QQ possibilities (and Ax, too). TT and JJ are just checking it.

sh58- i think the call pf is on the edge of good/bad. prob neither. it's a strong hand to be folding but our UTG raise means something and it's tough to play it OOP, I agree. We aren't deep or against a super lag so I'm prob dumping pf but feeling sad (but happy that I'm playing well)
