Default Pushing AK vs. Short stack as a C-Bet

Villian is 48/12/3.7 over 33 Hands. 6BB PF raise is suspicious but I don't read as overly strong. Given Pot size on the flop and villain's stack behind I figured pushing gives me FE and I get to see all 5 cards. Spewy?

I figure any standard c-bet commits him anyway, and if he pushes over I'll be getting roughly 4:1 on the call... unless he hit a set or is on a flush draw isn't that good enough? Flat pushing at least gives me FE....

I use the same logic and usually play this the same way, but I wonder what people have to say. If you check I think the shortie will most likely push with anyhthing and then your faced with a way ahead/way behind situation.

yeah, his 6BB PF bet threw me and I barely raised higher than my typical 3-bet total....

*grunch*
I'm raising to at least $2.00 preflop (probably $2.40 to be exact), in the hopes of getting it all in right away. If he just calls, then I'm shoving the flop no matter what.
