I put him on either AK spades or middle pocket pair. Huge river bet just doesn't make sense to me.

I'd be confused here, too, but I'd probably call. Your check on the turn would certainly induce a few bluffs in the spot, and I think there are enough random flush draws, mid PPs, A5 type hands we can beat. I wouldn't be surprised to see something like 55 or A9s, though.

I think I push the flop, considering how aggressive you have been I think you could see tens,nines,eights etc calling you down.
As played I call the river, you have played it weakly after flop not betting the turn so have induced a bet.
