Sometimes I 3 bet pre here. But if I called, I would donk this flop. I would also donk this flop with 22 and 33, because it's nearly impossible for him to float this flop with air considering your most likely hand after calling in the SB is a small pair.

How tight is MP's range here? Is set mining going to be that profitable against his range?

[/ QUOTE ]Wait, you guys don't call any pocket pair any position when stacks are 100bb for 5bb or less?? I only need to make 100-120$ on avg when I hit my set to break even.

I play them depending on a number of factors. However, usually when I'm calling with them against non-nits, I'm not looking to just hit my set. Because, against non-nits you aren't making 100-120 on average IMO.

all 3 options are similar preflop and depend entirely on your game.

postflop, donking is ok, check/calling is ok, c/ring is ok. on the turn I like c/f but I don't MIND c/c if you really understand his range as overcards (unlikely) or he will pay you off if you hit (unlikely). c/ring turn is good aswell for some pretty solid reasons.

and preflop, just calling is fine, 3betting is also fine and u should mix it up between the two, altho it is opponent dependent obviously
