Default What\'s softer: FTP $10 NL or Stars $2NL

Just try and pick one if at all possible.

Game Summary in PT over 25k hands ($2NL): 56% of players on Stars at .01/.02 are losing players with avg VP$P being 40 and avg PFR being 10.

Game Summary for FTP $10NL over 29K hands: 60% of players on FTP .05/.10 are losing players with avg VP$P being 35 and avg PFR being 11.

I know this is a wierd question, but give it a stab if you can.

* Also throw in the fact that you can datamine FTP around the clock (I know some disagree with stats for micros). Also not sure if FTP's player base is worse because of their advertising lately?

** Also consider rakeback for FTP.

i'm going to have to ask why you're asking this question b/c frankly, if you need any more than cursory game selection at either of these games you shouldn't be playing poker

I'm asking because my BR since I started about 2 weeks ago, all over on stars with $30. Now is at $162 and wondering if I could just take a leap with 16BI instead of 20.

* I had to look up the word cursory

I would play 10FTP and 25FTP if you have rakeback. If you dont have it get it and then play. 50 is kind of breakeven at either stars or FTP but I think Stars has better game selection and better opportunites to put your FPPs to use.

ok - so this is basically a bankroll question. any site w/ 10NL is going to be pretty soft. I've played stars and UB, and stars is definitely softer. I say go for it. If you've gone from $30 to $162 playing 2NL and 5NL, you should continue your streak at 10NL fairly easily w/ minimal changes to your game.

You're both right. BTW yes I have rakeback on FTP from when I used to play there.

The thing that appeals to me about FTP is the fact that I can leave my computer running and datamine 24/7. Some of the players that I viewed earlier today have been playing .05/.10 since I was playing it in January and haven't moved up and my notes on them are of course still there.
