I improve on the turn but.., $100 NL
How bad/standard is this? My pahud stats weren't displaying for him at the time but later they showed him at 17/13/2 over 300 hands. Not sure why they weren't displaying during this hand bc I may have played it differently if they had been.
Anyways...what do you do here against an unkown or a villain with the stats displayed? My main concern are 44 and 10 J diamonds. Re: I improve on the turn but.., $100 NL
well i think we can ignore stats as you played without them.
i think 44 generally 3bets the flop, in fact i actually think you are chopping this a lot of the time. i guess our only possible option is to fold to the turn check raise which i dont think i can ever do against an unknown also, i bet a bit more on the turn, in case he has a hand like Axdd all up this seems fine and standard |

Re: I improve on the turn but.., $100 NL

This is fine. There're hands you beat that would be playing here too.

Re: I improve on the turn but.., $100 NL
could you please give a range for hands he beats that will play like that, and what part of his rang you think they are.

I don't ever fold top 2 here but I hardly ever win with it in this situation. I give him credit for a set or AK here, or TJdd. |

Re: I improve on the turn but.., $100 NL
I check behind on turn here... Against a player that has been called pf / called a flop raise.. and check-raise the turn I can probably imagine I'm beat...
May be too weak but check behind on turn keeps the pot manageable ! |

Re: I improve on the turn but.., $100 NL
Although possible I wouldnt put villain on AK or JT here. I think more likely 44 or KQ.
Turn CR shows lotsa strength, but really hard to get away from AQ in this spot |

Re: I improve on the turn but.., $100 NL
I put a couple combos of AA/KK/QQ in there just for when he plays them weird
Board: As 4d Kd Qh Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 41.080% 31.59% 09.49% 278 83.50 { AcQs } Hand 1: 58.920% 49.43% 09.49% 435 83.50 { AcAd, AdAh, KcKd, KdKh, QcQd, 44, AcKc, AdKd, AhKh, AQs, KQs, JdTd, AcKd, AdKc, AdKh, AhKc, AhKd, AsKc, AsKd, AsKh, AQo, KQo } Remove AA/KK/QQ (left 1/2 of the AKs in there though since people don't always 3bet at this level) and you have Board: As 4d Kd Qh Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 45.391% 34.85% 10.54% 276 83.50 { AcQs } Hand 1: 54.609% 44.07% 10.54% 349 83.50 { 44, AcKc, AdKd, AhKh, AQs, KQs, JdTd, AcKd, AdKc, AdKh, AhKc, AhKd, AsKc, AsKd, AsKh, AQo, KQo } If you look at his stats and decide he's always 3betting AA/KK/QQ/AK (this is probably the most likely hand range): Board: As 4d Kd Qh Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 57.062% 43.51% 13.56% 268 83.50 { AcQs } Hand 1: 42.938% 29.38% 13.56% 181 83.50 { 44, AQs, KQs, JdTd, AQo, KQo } so yeah, get it in. edit: Left out A4s in all those ranges, if you ever think he has those (and i think he does sometimes) then your equity improves even more. |

[/ QUOTE ] vava you can't check through this turn after a lead/call on a flush draw flop. that line is just a flush draw soooo often that checking behind the turn sucks here. i realize we didn't improve over anything except A4, but all we lose to here is 44, so i think checking behind is way too weak on this board, esp when he stacks off with KQ here like always |
