What is villains range after flop raise then push
Villain is 42.9/2.4/0.8 over 42 hands
It seems to me that fish are prepared to make big bluffs as a bet on the turn or river, but they don't seem to raise very often, and when they make raises like this one it often seems to be a big hand. What range do you put villain on and do you call? I think A5 and A3 both suited are hands he will call the raise with preflop because players this loose tend to do that. He made a small check-raise in an earlier hand of 2/0.50 in a small pot with a set and then led for 5 on the river vs a fish. Re: What is villains range after flop raise then push
Seems like a very easy fold.
42 isn't in his ranger probably but 33/55/A3/A5 are and all of those crush you and he is very very passive and is like never here with a draw, his line is uberstrong here. |

With those stats, Villian's range is very wide. When Villian Min-RR's, I think you need to make decision here, don't call, fold or Push.

Re: What is villains range after flop raise then push
Is it bad to just call the raise and then if he pushes turn I fold and if he checks or makes a small bet I push?
Anyone else have a view as to whether I'm ahead or behind most of the time to this raise? |

Re: What is villains range after flop raise then push
I think you need to decide what you're doing when he minraises you on the flop. You need to fold or raise on flop. Flatcalling will more than likely lead button to call too, and then you're sandwiched on the turn with a hand that can't take much more heat.
If you think UTG is capable of c/r with a weaker ace or draw then reraise flop, else fold. |

Re: What is villains range after flop raise then push
With his aggression he rarely doing this with a draw. Decide on the flop if he has a worse ace or 2par/set. Flop is a push or fold.
