Default How many more years would Tim Wakefield have to play to make the HALL

He's a knuckleballer, he's dominating at times, could pitch for many more years. What does he have to do to make the hall of Fame?

Let's say he lasts another 8 seasons, at around his current pace?

Is this the beer talking, or does he have a very small chance...

No chance. Wakefield has never been dominating. To get to the Hall of Fame I think you should have to be at least the best pitcher on your team once. Or at least in the top ten in your league.

He'd have to pass Don Sutton as a compiler... Probably by a good bit.

10 more at the same clip seems legit.

He has 167 wins so far. I think anything short of 300 he doesn't make it because of the lack of dominance. Give or take twelve years.

How many more threads about not-even-close-to-borderline-HOFers will we see before someone gets a week-long ban?

Coming on here every few days and reading about another piss-poor Northeasterner making the Hall is making me forget about how sh*tty the Astros are doing.

Do you still think that Bernie is not even close to borderline?
