Default how much do you tighten up running bad inorder to get things straightt

I feel like an extended bad run is starting to affect how I play (less aggressive, some bad calls etc) and I'd like to tighten up until im winnning and feeling good again but unsure as to how much. I play 25NL on FTP. I just dont want to go so tight as to not give myself a chance to win

well baller, theres two things you can do.

play more tables, or play less. it's person dependent. if you're more comfortable with multitabling than playing more will tighten you up, otherwise usually the opposite.

taking a break isnt a bad idea either m8.

try some days of MTT or hu sng's or somethign to take your mind away from the grind.

gl rocket. you have a sick name.

I tend to get too passive when running bad or moving up in limits. I have been making some stabs at higher limits and found I played less agg than before. For instance, I ck'd down middle set tonight against bottom set that had posn on me. I was afraid of a str8. I am still kicking myself in the butt for the weak play.

The hard thing if you tighten up is to maintain your position play. It's easy to get to a point where you open-fold 87s on the button, yet raise AJo UTG. So if you're on a downswing and plan to tighten up, do so with an eye on your positional stats. Ask yourself every time you see a flop oop: did i have a good reason to play this hand? Is this a hand that depends on my postflop play being superior? my reads to be 100% accurate? Tighten up your cutoff and button play only after you've exhausted that.

I tighten up in that Im not going to be as aggressive or make any semi-bluffs. First, your image is crap at the table, so you dont get the respect you should. Second, another bad hit could spriral you down tiltworld! I tighten up my raising requirements, and definitely 3-bet range. postflop, you have to stay aggressive.

When running bad I get super monkey aggro flinging any suited sheets and raising with nothing. I think it's called tilt.

if you are truly running bad and not just playing bad, you shouldn't need to tighten up.

unless br is an issue and then just move down.

I switch the games. If I am running bad in cash and feeling so boored and tilted then I play SNG-s or tournaments some hours/days/weeks. It helps.
