Default minimum post count required to start threads

How can we solve this [censored] [censored] OPs by people who just registered to spam the forums? I just clicked on a thread in MTTs entitled "did i have the right odds" by "Brian Peppers" and got the great pleasure of seeing a big black [censored]. Not to mention i'm in the middle of the [censored] airport with a billion people right next to me, awesome. And it's not like this the only time someone with less than 10 posts has made a thread with virus, spam, inline porn, etc in every single forum.

I think a minimum of 50 posts would help to clear out this type of [censored].

So the second post you saw in a thread would be of something stupid? Did you notify the mod before leaving the thread?

Yes, i would much rather have the second post be something stupid. They like it much better when you open THEIR THREAD and its OMFG BLACK [censored].

And no, I did not notify the moderator. I was too busy making sure that no one around me saw that ish, i have to wait another hour for my flight and i would hate to have to browse 2+2 5 gates down.

tuq - it was very impressive, i'd hate to run a busto after that dude. lol woman unsatisfiedaments

I'd up the minimum to 100. This however would make NVG would become obsolete because no one would be starting new threads and just bumping old ones.

I think people with less than 100 posts starting good threads is the exception rather than the rule.

The min post count rule would encourage more useless spamming though.

Spamming inside of threads would become the new problem. Not all "Notify Mod" button hits go answered however. Would this be more of a problem then just being able to lock and edit a new spam thread thread because you would have to keep a diligent eye out in nearly every thread in your respective forum.
