hand 1 i just call the flop and raise safe turns, and fold nasty turns. as you played it, fold the turn.

hand 2 call flop, fold turn ui, is standard. i dunno what raising accomplishes there.

Why fold turn in the first hand?

"no reads"

but i see your point, it's just that the pot is 14 to 1 and he may not have AA or A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] right?

well yes it says no reads but with those 14/9 stats we can infer that the guy is a tag/tight player for sure.

any heart beats us, aa beats us (on the turn, when i want to fold), the only reasonable things we beat are black qq and black jj, and given the postflop action i just don't see the guy having those.

Hand#1: suppose we put villain on AK, KK+ after flop 3-bet. Against that range we do not have the equity to call down for a split. Also I think AK combos without A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] are unlikely. So fold the turn.

Hand#2: A solid player always cap pf multiway with AA or KK I think. I would have raised the flop and take it from there. Folding flop is not an option!!!! I think folding the turn is pretty bad too.
