Default 2/4 FTP K9o Tighty Makes This an Unusual Defense

Villain is 15/5/3.59. ATSB is 16.67

Full Tilt 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.75 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero folds.

Anyone take a different line then the standard check raise with a villain so tight? Anyone folding preflop?

Value, but I'm thinking it's very thin considering his range and the ones I'm ahead of PPs, smaller kings have so few outs that I might be better off letting him keep betting. Pot is small too so giving "free cards" isn't that much of a problem. I don't want to bias this topic too much but those are some initial thoughts.

yeh i think my standard play here would be to c/c flop and c/f once that terrible turn card comes out.

I don't like the flop raise here. I call and re-eval the turn. Turn is easy fold. FWIW I fold PF.

If you have sufficient sample size on villain I don't see a weaker K being part of his hand range.

Me to. Against a player this tight the flop c/r is a mistake. You are never folding better hands and there is little value in the raise.

I can never fold K9o preflop to a button raise. Against top 17% it should do fine and I would be inclined to think that I have a postflop edge against such a huge nit. (ATSB = 17%!! wtf?)
