NL10 QQ strong move by unknown
BB is relatively new, maybe an orbit or two... no reads.
Shove? Call and re-eval? Pot is getting kind of big. I'm lost. Re: NL10 QQ strong move by unknown
I just shove. This board is too coordinated to call/evaluate and his range is too wide. You are a just going to fold in a big pot a lot without a read.

Re: NL10 QQ strong move by unknown
I've never played at NL10 (only NL25 and NL50), but this is what I think if it's a player who's paying attention.
In this case I think any info is valuable. How did he play the 20 hands he was at the table? Was he in every hand? Was he raising? Did he show anything down? This is what I think if it's a pretty decent player. You raised UTG, that's a power move, so I think that the caller made him decide to go to the flop. If he has a monster he probably would be RR preflop, but there is a little chance he thinks he can slowplay it (not very smart). So I put him on a PP, suited connectors, maybe Axs or and very unlikely monster. When he checkraises you he probably flopped a straight, set or two pair. I would sometimes limp checkraise in the blinds as a bluff when someone is always raising from the blinds. But I have never seen anybody do this at 25NL( I'm only playing NL a month so I'm not that experienced), and I think it's very -ev when somebody is raising from UTG, because somebodies raising range is much smaller (if he's decent). I would fold probably. |

Re: NL10 QQ strong move by unknown
I can see a push but Ive played alot of 10nl a c/r which is basicly a min raise is usually a hand thats far ahead of QQ here. without a read that villian is agro monkey I fold some ,prob call and re-eval here.

I think we need to make decision here, we can't call, we need to Push or fold here.
Push-IMO. But it is very close. |

[/ QUOTE ]In 5NL which I have a lot of play on this is autopush and profit. Oddly 10NL plays way tighter and players are either overly aggro tags or loose-passives through ~4k hands. Tags in 5nl are very rare. Am I better off giving 10nl players a bit more credit readless whereas I just assume 5nl is giving away money? I think it has a lot to do with 200bb vs 100bb stacks. |

Re: NL10 QQ strong move by unknown
I mean a fold seems absurd here there isnt alot a str8s villian can have soo a push seems good, just seems like villian is always c/min raising a monster here IMO so I guess im not in a huge rush to push here.
