$225: Repush A5s vs loose big stack?
Villain was a fairly big loser according to sharkscope and definitely seemed on the loose side. This okay, or do we think I'm getting called too often?

Re: $225: Repush A5s vs loose big stack?
If button is that bad there's no way I fold here...this is more of a value shove than a resteal in that case. Of course, I don't play this high, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Re: $225: Repush A5s vs loose big stack?
If hes a big loser he can probably talk himself into calling with hands that either dominate you or you are only slightly ahead
also, how is he with minraising? Id be much more apt to do it if I know a little better what his minraising range is. fish love to minraise with big hands. All in all I dont really think he can be raising wide enough to make this +ev. Someone with sngwiz (im at work) could probably validate this |

Re: $225: Repush A5s vs loose big stack?
PFR% and Att to steal % are big factors on whether shoving is good. In most cases it's probably just a fold since you are shoving through BB as well. If he was shorter it would look better but I doubt he's folding very many hands here.

Re: $225: Repush A5s vs loose big stack?
This is close. If he was loose-aggro I really like a push. You will be a 60/40 favorite quite a bit of the time if called plus you have FE. If he is loose-passive then I just fold. A loose-passive likes to limps so I can give he credit for a hand if he raises, plus a loose-passive will almost never raise/fold in this spot.

Seem close but I'd probably pass. I don't think you have much FE w/ his huge stack.

Re: $225: Repush A5s vs loose big stack?
not 100% sure i am doing this right because i just got the wiz but here goes for breakeven (came out neg .05%):
button opens 32% 22 A2 K7o K3s QTo Q9s JTs hero pushes bb overcalls 5.5% 99 AQo AJs button calls your push with top 21% 33 A4o A2s KJo KTs the wiz was kind of enough to suggest 44 A9 A7s for a repush range, which i believe is based on a .2 min edge and the above ranges. |
