Default 2-7 TD: I valuebet 97532 in a 3-way pot, 1:1:1 into last draw

Button is BB from my other thread. Overaggro and overvalues hands. I think he bluffcatches a lot of hands if I bet here.

BB is pretty solid, but seems to be steaming slightly. Slightly weak in valuebetting, in my opinion.

This feels like another case of 'check-calling sucks, so I bet'. Maybe I should just check-fold?

Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball Limit ($5/$10) (converter)

Hero ($265), Seat 2
BB ($148), Seat 3
UTG ($1047), Seat 6
Button ($449), Seat 1

Button at Seat 1.
Hero posts $2. BB posts $5.

Hand: [5c 2c 7s Kh Qs]

Round 1: (1.40 SB)

This is a super standard value bet for me unless both villains won't try to catch me bluffing, and those people aren't really too common in this game.

A lot of 10s are dead (which isnt a big deal since more importantly 9s are live) but it still seems totally OK to me to bet here. With a bad 9 I would never bet.

Thanks all, I thought it was a little thin 3-way, and I did lose the hand to an 87. I wonder how often I'm actually ahead of two players drawing 1 when I catch this 9. It'd be nice to have a last-draw odds calculator that can take ranges into account.

Well since you can basically always fold to a raise in this spot, the only question is can you get better hands to fold and worse hands to call? In this case I'd say it's nearly a wash, and the only problem with betting is that an 876xx and some 87xxx will never bet and will always call a bet, so you might just be creating a negative freeroll by betting into a pot that's already not that big, so you may be costing yourself a fraction of a bet here when checking might be better.

I'd MUCH prefer the choice of betting with a smooth T than a 9 here to be honest.

Just devil's advocating!

I don't understand how I can calculate this problem with that calculator.

This is right on the borderline. I think you might need a 96 here, but if you never led into two other players (when you all drew one) without an 8, you wouldn't be leaving too much money on the table.

I guess I'm the only guy who checks this. I'd figure that anybody behind me with an unpaired hand is going to bet, and I don't want to get jammed from up front holding a 9.
