WCOOP 6-max sat *** AQ Shove?
1500FPP 6-max Sat to the WCOOP opener. I'm about 28/40, 11 seats.
Villain is a pretty average 6-handed player, he's in quite a lot of pots. Seems a tad weak. A raise is out of the question as it'll pot commit me and put me in a tough spot on the turn. Best play here is to shove? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (6 handed) UTG (t5739) MP (t5966) Hero (t3184) Button (t5955) SB (t11618) BB (t3493) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG posts a blind of t150. MP raises to t450, Hero? |

Yep. Just barely but yes. Have to shove here.

I suppose you could call and see what the flop brings. If you're going to raise, then yes, you might as well shove.

Re: WCOOP 6-max sat *** AQ Shove?
Just barely yes, indeed.
675 in pot, nice to take down right here. Calling is OK, but you'll receive another caller and FE on flops is going to be down. I guess it depends - if you think players to your left are tight and fold to aggression, then calling might not be bad; you have position + nice FE against your average player. If an A comes up, you can milk some more chips. I think push is better, but call ain't bad. Barry |
