Default Final Table AQ push...painfully ABC...right?

Final table of Stars $10 10 minute tourney (about 1050 players)...I think this is as ABC as it gets but please confirm...10 minute blinds made for very little post flop poker. I came to the FT on life support but stole a few and doubled with AK and 2 players were eliminated.

Is this is all in or nothing with nothing not being an option?

Seeing as how the chip leader has you outchipped 4 to 1, and there are a few other big stacks, you're going to have to gamble to give yourself a decent shot at top 3.

I think you have to push. I think you'd need at least 200k chips before you can consider raise/fold (and raise/call push is probably still better).

Easy Push. If you ran into AA or got outdrawn, them's the breaks.

you could raise to 20k to try to induce a resteal from A9-AJ/KQ and to give you a chance to fold out a hand like 66 on the flop.

your push is fine though.

Cornell...thought about it...still I'm pretty much committed to calling any reraise no matter what I do...I don't think I can pass this hand up with semi turbo blind structure. If I raise to 20 and get a call and brick the flop am I open pushing?

I don't know about open pushing but I am probably betting small to induce a bluff shove which I am calling... or if I am called I am shoving the turn.

if you open for 20k you obviously call a pf shove.

you are getting all of the money in here... you just want to find the maxEV way of doing it.

Your open shove was completely unexploitable... it just might not have been maxEV (although I suspect that it was pretty close to maxEV and it is certainly the easiest way to play the hand.)
