NL 50: TT in SB facing a Raise
Villain is 37/7/1.5
How often should I be re-raising in this spot? And also how'd I play the rest of the hand? I considered leading the turn. I think you played it fine, I don't like your river bet though. Id make it at least $12.

I tend to 3-bet this preflop OOP against unknowns, but against a PFR 7 guy, the call is probably okay too.

Yeah we can put him on something when he raises but I hear ya were OOP I tend to bring this in to for a 3bet.
I like the way he played this hand though. |

In this instance, the $5 was a blocker bet in case he somehow stuck around w/ AQ or to prevent a bluff (although I'm not sure this player would bluff very often now that I've considered it.). |

I don't understand the bet on the end. Are you trying to get 67 and 78 to call you?
Would you fold to a raise? |

Re: NL 50: TT in SB facing a Raise
I re-pop pre here basically every time. TT is just too strong to be calling OOP against a CO raiser and too vulnerable to get tricky with. Calling here just for set value is pretty weak, and obviously you didn't because you lead the flop. Calling and leading on all unders is a pretty strange line.
I know what his stats are but if that's all you're basing it on, I just don't see how you can't raise to define the situation better. AA/KK will get it in, QQ/JJ may play passively after a 3-bet but that's probably only 2 hands you're worried about. Sample size on his stats is important here too because it's sort of a borderline spot. |
