Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
I dont like how you bet into a station with second pair on the flop.
On the turn I would raise it to $120. |

Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
I'd either call or minraise, shoving most rivers of course

Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
is this a standard call preflop and do those stats mean that he raises alot pre?

Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
i guess pf is not always standard, but I have pos, we are a little above 100bb and he seemed to be making a lot of mistakes so I called. he does raise a lot pf and he also shows down a lot of junky hands.

Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
I'm not so sure about preflop. Calling behind with SC's is pretty standard for me, but against a station we're rarely going to have the FE we need to play it profitably. I like the flop bet, and I'd probably call and let him hang himself on the river if he has a history of doing so.

Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
Condidering your opponent I think that your preflop play is ok. I think I would bet the flop, too but since villain is a callingstation I'm not sure if that is the correct play.
On the turn I would raise it to 120-130. I want to play for stacks with him in this situation and at the same time I don't want him to see the river cheap if he has a flush draw. |

Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
Check flop. Raise turn around the size of the pot.

Re: NL200 65s vs UTG raise
Raise turn. He's a station. He's not folding a Q here, ever.
