BEAT: Totally Hosed Supply Depot Roadblock

Basically I was at work so I decided to load up some Brood Wars for a good time Monday. I haven't played in a long time so I opted for a 1 vs. 5 against CPU at Big Game Hunters.

I chose Terran, as they're probably the easiest to fall back into the groove with after an extended break at StarCraft. I decided that I was going to cheese and use the Supply Depot roadblock maneuver so that I could securely build my dominant forces.

I started at the bottom right, so I had the option to make the move for the secondary mineral supply at a relatively early time. I didn't make any defense in my main base, thinking that I could get up to the secondary in time to front a full defense.

Then, my worst nightmare came true: I got rushed while my Siege Tanks were being built. Coupled with the fact that I missed setting up my full block, and the fact that I completely set it up wrong in the first place, the rush made for an immediate 10-minute game resulting in my resignation.

I only got rushed by 3 teams, so I'm guessing there was 1 zombie CPU (f'n StarCraft AI), and 1 that was on it's way from across the map.

Beat: Horribly failed Supply Depot block on 1 vs 5
Brag: I'm at work and I'm going to try again
Variance: Haven't played in forever so I don't feel too bad

I miss Starcraft, I need to find my OS9 disc so I can load it onto my G5. Otherwise it won't work, OSX doesn't recognize it. Sigh.

siege tanks are ghey. RA tank rushes were so much more fun.
