What to bet on river with a set?

Villain is 42/0 but only over 21 hands, seems like a bit of a calling station. Would love some advice on all streets but my main question is what amount should I bet on the river and why? I am 99% sure I have the best hand here, how do I extract?

Calling flop can be fine given that it's relatively dry.
Definitely bet bigger on the turn, at least 3.75, I bet 4.5 here.

As played, shove river.

bet more on the turn , if you want to extract more on the riv you have to build the pot on the turn so you can make a decent sized value bet on the riv and extract the most value w/o overbetting

1. Bet this flop $1.5 - You want to build a pot with your hand.

2. Bet Turn $4.5 for the same reason

3.I would bet about $5. I think he often has an eight here.

I probably push this. No more value for a slow play on the turn though? I'd be tempted to check/call again but I sometimes get into trouble that way in a multiway.

Hmmmm - thanks for the help, I still think that calling the flop was ok, I have a monster and the flop is perfect so I want both players in the hand but I agree I need to bet turn more so I can shove river.

What about 3.5-4 on the turn so as no to chase out MP and possibly even induce a bluff?

your turn sizing is terrible. I probably bet something like 3.75 or 4.

as played bet around 6.5 or 7 on the river.

Its probably just me but check/calling the flop seems bad.

Work on the sizing of the bets and with so many people in the pot I think I would do bet the flop to also to build it as someone else said.
