5/10, 2pair, they think I\'m tilting
Venetian 5/10, 9-Handed
I just lost a big pot on the previous hand. I raised UTG to 50 and got 3 callers. Flop K24, I bet 150 and got one caller. Turn 5, I bet 250 and she shoves for 350 more, I call and she has a set of dueces. I did not show my AA. The villian in this hand is the same villian. She is a tight, mediocre (at best) player that is in the game for a bunch after being felted twice earlier. Hero has 670 (waiting till the button to reload), Villian covers. Hero has A8o in the BB. Preflop UTG straddles to 20, three players call including Villian in MP, Hero calls, UTG checks. Flop (100): K86r Checks around. Turn (100): A Hero sloppily fires out 70, Villian raises to 170, Hero insta-shoves for 650. Like it? |

Sure. You've most likely have the best hand (AK doesn't make sense here, and if you've run into another set that's too bad) If you didn't feel that your image was loose, you might want to play this slower, but two pair is not that strong of a hand. I say go for it and hope for a loose call.

I'd want to see a video of you doing this to see how convincing you look...Villain's not going broke without an ace, but is going broke with just about every ace.
I think you may have been able to squeeze out more value, but if your image is as it is, it's definitely an option. |
