$1/2 Nut flush - misplayed turn/river?
$1/1/2 at the Luxor (yes, odd structure), 9 handed.
Approximate depths are below, the others aren't in the hand. Hero (~$150) UTG (~$220) MP (~$90) UTG is weak/tight, but likes to (over)play pairs and TP with leading bets - 40-60% of the pot is a big bet for him. MP is loose preflop and seems to be a bit of a station on the flop and turn. Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 callers, Hero raises to $10, UTG and MP both call 8, all others fold. Flop: ($32) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] x (3 players) UTG bets $20, MP calls, Hero calls. I thought about raising here, but deferred because of above reads, thinking I could get more out of them by playing it slow - even if it means I have to muck a big draw. Turn: ($92) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG bets $40, MP raises $12 and is all-in. Hero calls $52, UTG calls $12. River: ($248) rag (3 players) Hero bets $58 and is all in. UTG mucks. So... I'm thinking I misplayed the river, but I'm not sure - $58 into $250 is pretty tiny, and I'm thinking he'll call no matter what. He goes into the tank and folds - is there any play here that allows you to get an extra bet out of his Ax? |

Re: $1/2 Nut flush - misplayed turn/river?
No, you played it fine. If he isn't calling getting 6:1 I don't worry about it. Mayyyyyybe he bluffs if you check, but he probably had nothing and woulda given up.
