Default Golf Bet...

Hey guys,

This bet was kinda stolen from a poker show that it was heard on...I dont really remember which one. Here are the details...

I usually shoot in the 95 range. My opponent usually shoots in the 75 range. We play straight up...him from the tips and I from the laides tees. I also get to scramble everyone of my shots two times. Match play. Course is 6900 from the tips and 5500 from the ladies tees.

I am insanely confident that I can win this match. Fwiw the reason I shoot so high is because I SUCK at the short game. 3 putting is pretty standard for me. Last time out my opponent shot one under from the whites(6500). So...am I as big of a favorite as I think I am??

Who ya got?

Not you. I'd say you'll shoot 75-80.

Anyone else notice the problem here?
I will be wagering my imaginary bankroll on your opponent.

I don't. Hitting two puts makes my chances of 3 putting to almost 0. I am not that bad where being able to scramble my puts wouldnt make a HUGE improvment on my puts per round.

Wow, that is a pretty huge advantage for you. I think you'll definitely win. Being able to hit every shot twice is ridiculous.

WHAT THE [censored]

Dude gets to play a course 1500 yards shorter and hit every shot twice. How the hell could he lose 6 and 5. He might not even lose 6 and 5 playing straight up from the same tees.

If you really average 95 playing strict rules I think you win. If you are like most people who say they normally shoot 95 but actually average 100-105 then you are toast.
