Default European Poker Boom?

I just returned from a trip to Europe and I was encouraged by the number of online poker ads on television. Full Tilt, by far, had the most. In many of the major cities, with Prague being the one that first comes to mind, there are many places that run NL tournaments a few times/week. Now that I'm back, I notice the large # of foreign players online. It seems to be a lot higher than a few months back.

Is there any data to support this trend? Are the ad campaigns working? With the upcoming WSOP Europe and Full Tilt's Russian tournament would it be a stretch to hope for a European poker boom?

Poker in Europe is not really having a boom, but a gradual increase every year. Each year that goes past a new country seems to open the doors to live poker in their casinos.I would not call it a boom though.
On-line for sure, the significant numbers from Europe have risen.

Yes very much so. I notice there are much less americans playing, and more recently canadians since Neteller was having problems.
