Default 5/10 live at MGM against self-proclaimed great live pro

7 or 8 handed. utg straddles, so I'm first to act. I make it $65 with KdJd. middle position calls. sb calls.

Flop: Q83 rainbow.

sb checks. I decide to check since I've shown down a couple big bluffs in the last couple orbits. middle position checks

Turn 7d 2 diamonds on board.

I bet like $100, a little less than half pot.(bet sizing didn't seem to matter much to these 2) mp folds, and sb calls.

river: Q

He bets out $325.

The bet didn't make any sense. A couple hours ago on a similar hand where the board paired(I wasn't in the hand), he fired a bet like this on the river out of no where when the board paired and was called and he instamucked. Also a couple hours ago, I raised a flop bet by him kind of small, and he said something to no one in particular about how if I raised big he calls quick and knows I obviously have it since I raised so small.(i had a draw, he's a silly lil feller) He's also make sure to tell everyone at the table that he hasn't had a losing session since he started playing at MGM last month. He's a relatively tight player for the most part, but has fired a couple bluffs before.

I think about calling here, but I worry that he could potentially be bluffing with something like the A high missed flush draw, or even a small pair that he doesn't think is good.

He has about $1400 behind. I decide to min-raise to $650.

Thoughts?

if you are ognna be using the post-oak bluff i think $850-$950 would be better because live players tend to think in absolute numbers..."zomg he raised $500 more, he can't be bluffing"...as opposed to thinking about pot odds and the like. that said, i would just muck and move on to the next hand.

ehhh seems a bit stupid/fancy to me. if you're gonna bluff make it like 825 or 925.

is 5/10 high stakes now . I was thinking while reading min raise prob makes this guy feel sad and fold.

bluffing recently may take the legitimacy from this bluff

you are risking 650 (compared to folding) to win about the same. If he folds 50% or more then it's good which I agree with.
