I think it's okay to make a new post for this. A 21/17/4 over 3k+ hands is on my right and were both 200+ BB deep. His attempt to steal blinds is 41% and he folds to only 47% of cbets. How do I adapt to being deep stacked but him being so over aggro. Should I losen up my Btn calling range against him and look for 2pair or better with crazy typish hands? Thanks

3-bet that mofo to hell. If you're not comfortable playing deep then find another table right away.

Wait 21/17 is pretty nitty right? If so then no big deal just call in position and try get paid off. I thought you meant he was super Laggy.
Sorry - I'm kind of Poker-Tracker illiterate |

Let him get away with the blind stealing. Playing back at him because he's stealing a lot is a very bad idea if you're OOP and deep. However 3-bet more in the BB when he tries to steal from the sb and reraise him more when you're on the button. The idea is to get him to play big pots against you OOP. When deep being IP adds a lot of strength to your hands, especially PP or SC type of hands. Play your draws very aggressively. Do not play non speculative hands such as KT, KJ...
However if he's a good player you won't make a lot of money. |
