Default top set with 3 overcards on the river to a push.

no reads. figured i was getting zero action on the flop as dry as it was. when he called i figured him for an A which sounded good to me. the K comes on the turn and im still not worried but didnt expect a call. then he pushes the river. i dont see how he is calling the flop with QJ, maybe Ax[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] trying to rep the straight with a busted draw. i wasnt too worried as i said, he couldnt call me with QJ on that flop me thinks. im thinkin this is the correct play. thoughts/opinions on all streets please.

Every street is preposterously standard. Sure he could flip 98 but you'll see worse quite a bit here.

When playing a shortstack like this I believe that you shouldn't be too worried about getting him all in with your set. You have him beat way too often to think about folding here.

thanks guys. like i said, wasnt really scared just wanted to throw out a spot check now and again.

ship it he did.

BB has 9c Tc (one pair, tens).
Hero has As Ad (three of a kind, aces).
Outcome: Hero wins $9.18.

i never really thought about folding either. im not sure how he called the flop. turn he thought FD GOGOGO. but still, pushing into someone who has been aggressive throughout the entire hand is probably not all that smart. buddylisted.
