Default NL100 99 OOP on co-ordinated board

Villain is completely unknown, I just sat down this orbit.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

BB ($100)
UTG ($98.33)
Hero ($98.50)
CO ($98.38)
Button ($233.70)
SB ($115.95)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls $4, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($9.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $7</font>, Button calls $7.

Turn: ($23.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $14</font>, Hero calls $14.

River: ($51.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $28</font>, Hero folds.

Is it better to lead the turn? I decided to check-call since getting raised would really suck since we have a decent draw but can't really call a raise. River seems like a clear fold.

Check/calling the turn also sucks because we should be throwing away our hand to a larger bet. I think it's a bet/fold situation.

I bet/fold turn. We probably have the best hand, but we are likely to be up against tons of outs.

i'd bet/fold the turn. the king is a great bluff card for him once you check, esp if he has diamonds. if you bet, he's usually not going to be raising with worse unless he's very aggressive. it's a pretty draw heavy board and he could show up with a lot of combo draws and you should charge him to draw and to not get moved off the best hand

I don't like the turn check. IMO, checking the turn lets your opponent play perfect vs you. The K could have most certainly hit your hand range. I am bet/folding this turn most of the time @ around $15-$17.
