the dinky turn bet also doesn't look too hot on this board

No need to double barrel here. His floats still beat you (AQ,PP). Infact even mixing it up with not c-betting this board is not a crime.

This would be true if he had a full stack of $400 at the start; betting $100 here is over 1/2 his remaining stack (OP, please rebuy for a full stack preflop).

As played, turn is a shove-or-c/f given your level of remaining $. To answer OP's query re: what villain could have, he could have a bigger ace, a medium pair (66-88) and be floating you, or could be setting up a river bluff v. a short stack (unlikely, DUCY?). Having a full stack preflop gives you more options on turn, IMO.

he most likely have pp of some sort here
actually, if he has enough chips in front of him, i think i like a river shove much better than a check/call, which is suicidal

No idea who he is, but he's not doing it often enough for you to call profitably, here.
