Re: Can I really fold KK here?
Raise the Turn. That line looks like someone trying to price themselves in with a draw or a weak made hand.
Of course, fold to a 3bet all in. |

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
I'd raise it up on the turn, folding to a shove.

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
ya for sure raise the turn.
River fold is horrible I think, he could easily have Jx and throwing out a blocker. A6 is even possible. |

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
River fold isn't horrible but you wouldn't be in this predicament if you simply raised the turn.

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
raise the turn, to take the control of the pot, also find out where you are.
he is 1.4, so it is unlikely he will bet to you on the river, unless he has a monster hand |

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
So it was pretty clear to me (and everyone else) that I should have raised the turn.
My thinking at the time was pretty much "WTF is that? Weird semibluff from spades or did this [censored] just hit his kicker? Might as well reduce variance and let him tell me just what the [censored] he thinks he's doing on the river." So assuming we raise the turn, what's our plan after that? I'll ignore weird min-raise scenarios. 1) He shoves - easy fold 2) He calls - blank river - ck/ easy valuebet 3) He calls - J/T/[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hits??? He checks - easy ck behind? Can anyone find super thin value in a bet there? 4) He calls - J/T/[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hits - He donks again? Pots ~$80 with $90 effective behind. Where do you all draw the cutoff when he bets? |

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
3) Only hand I check behind is a jack, he is betting flush.
4) If I raise turn I can pretty easily fold to river donk here, he isn't going to try to buy pot, if its a blank easy call. |

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
Yeh you got to raise this turn I think.
As played, I think its a pretty easy fold. His range is weighted towards sets/fd's and JT/AJ/KJ/QJ, only 3 of those hands you beat and I dont think he plays JQ as strong as this. Although tbf your hand is a little under repped but I dont think this makes much difference here on this board. |

Re: Can I really fold KK here?
To everyone saying raise the turn:
What do you think his calling range is if we make a PSR on the turn? |
