same reads = ???

- raise/fold preflop
- given that he made it $28, which is a bit large I dont mind limpfolding preflop instead of limpcalling. Sure you have great implied odds but thats sort of a ridiculous sized raise.
- if your calling flop with your sSUPER dirty outs, you should definitely semi bluff the turn
- bet more on the river, like 140 so it looks bigger and less 2/3 pot'ish. he'll play more straightforwardly and you are less likely to get raised by worse
- as played, sure bet-fold river how you got there

Pre flop is defo not standard, but it was three way with pos so I said [censored] it. When he checked turn and I checked through, it felt so nasty. I think this as the biggest mistake. You really think that 15 dollar difference changes much? Doesn't that make it so when I'm raised it's much harder to find a fold. Granted, I didn't make this bet caus

Edit: Re: river line, got this confused with my other hand for a second, and I definitely agree with needing to bet more as a blocker/value.

I think it does actually since poker's played by people and he'll be less likely to look for what he sees as missed value if his turn check was just for trickyness/stupidness

Flop call is super shady. You may have as few as 3 clean outs, so unless you think you can bluff him off a lot on future streets this is fairly bad. This doesn't seem like a good board to be running huge bluffs on either. The rest of the hand seems okay.

not sure i understand the river fold given the flop call. you call on the draw, and hit and then fold? clearly the mistake here is calling the flop.

If his c-bet is called on the flop, does he often give it up on the turn? If so, I think i'd like to take a shot at this pot on the turn.
