as in shoves all in on a 222ax board with q high when villian checks his ace. and bets pot or calls down with middle pair or air. and every time ive seen a scare card hit hes bet huge.

this makes the minraise look really fishy. even though he's a maniac if he's been normally making large raises w/nothing and all of a sudden makes a small raise i'm inclined to think he hit the K this time.

if he's that retarded then shove on him. otherwise fold, i don't like a call here, but I could easily shove this given a nutty enough image from him.

i didn't think of this...probably a fold unless you've seen him minraise weakly too or if he's on tilt.

You look real strong and that board is supposed to have hit you, and he's making a tiny call-me raise. He probably has KQ or a set or KsXs.

This really all depends though on just how maniacal he is. If he was in that meltdown zone where it was clear he was going busto in the next 10 hands or so, I'd probably call down.

He is a supposed maniac. People get [censored] for being weak tight when they advocate folding a set even when its obvious the set is beat. Thats not weak tight, being scared of overcards vs a maniac and putting them on top set is.

definitely not putting this guy on top set. i advocate a fold b/c villain's minraise is inconsistent w/previous raises he has made when a scare card has fallen.

lol the *following* sentence in my post says it all depends on how crazy he is. We don't have a lot of reads to go on here, and just saying "maniac" doesn't shed all that much light. Maniacs make hands, and when they do they tend to milk them instead of making their usual huge "please please fold" raises.
