Villain is 45/17/2 after about 80 hands. No other reads. I honestly get c/red or raised on a paired board about 95% of the time. They cant flop trips every time can they? Should I bet checking the turn here more often?

This is precisely the spot to use the turn value check, though if the guy is really bluffy, your line doesn't totally suck. The only thing that sucks would be folding anywhere.

semi-bluffing (perhaps with the best hand) against a guy that could easiy check raise you with air is probably a bad idea ... unless you can fold

if you want to go to showdown I much prefer a check and call

If the board was a little more easy to hit for him I def chk turn to induce. But here hmm... If i decide to bet its becouse Im ready for that c/r and want to call down. otherwise chk. No folding.
