FPP store orders taking longer then 4-6 weeks
I ordered an autographed book from the VIP store over 6 weeks ago. They said it would take 4-6 weeks. I emailed them a couple weeks ago and they said it will arrive within 4-6 weeks. Since it is over 6 weeks, what is my play?
Anyone with a similar experience? Can I goad stars into giving me more free stuff?

I had the same experience with the autographed books. They come directly from the author (and not the Stars' store) and thus take a little longer. I also had to pay customs on these books while I don't have to with other merchandise from the Stars' store. I complained once and was advised to wait another 2 weeks, after two weeks I complained again and was sent regular versions free of charge from Stars. Ironically the autographed versions as well as the regular books ended up coming on almost exactly the same day.

In my experience, they are more liberal with FPP's than cash.
i.e If you ask for cash, they will probably not give you as much as if you ask for FPP's. Usually only enough to get a cap or t-shirt or something, but better than a kick in the teeth. (which incidentaly seems to be standard practice on some other sites). If you ask for a rediculous amount like 1000 FPP's or something stupid, I have found they usually give me couple of hundred just to shut me up. (there has to be something wrong in the frist place though, I mean I dont just email support at random intervals demanding money, LOL).

How about this for a kick in the teeth... total time now will be double what they first told me:
Thank you for your email. This book was ordered autographed. Autographed books are shipped out of Las Vegas by mail, not shipped from our store in Colorado. The author individually signs the books to each player. This takes more time, as sometimes the authors are not available each week for signing. Right now the author has been playing in the WSOP therefore, he will be signing books some time this week or next week. Please allow two to three more weeks for delivery.
