Back into the swing of things - Flush draw OOP
I know that this is 100NL but I'm familiar with a lot of the posters here and this isn't too complicated of a hand but I'm real damn rusty so I think this hand fits well in uNL.
Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $107.68 Hero (BB): $179.25 UTG: $178.25 MP: $162.96 CO: $94.00 BTN: $118.44 Reads: <font color="blue">Villain is 30/10/7 over 400ish hands this session. He's done some wacko bet sizing before, but I don't have much of a read on what it means as he's shown down complete garbage and the stone cold nuts when he's minraised before. Not that it matters much against this guy, but I've been playing my usual 18/15/3 game, playing real snug out of position as I usually do.</font> Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) 2 folds, CO calls $1.00, BTN calls $1.00, SB calls $0.50, Hero checks Flop: ($4) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $2.50</font>, CO folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $5.00</font>, SB folds, Hero calls $2.50 Turn: ($14) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $10.00</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $20.00</font>, Hero calls $10.00 River: ($54) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $38.00</font>, BTN folds Pot Size: $92.00 I could have played it differently on any street and I'm almost certain I botched this one, so comments anywhere are appreciated. |

Strange. What about a pot sized raise on the turn? Although, you would think that he would at least call a medium sized bet on the river given he's min raised twice.

I'm not sure I follow the logic behind your turn line. I guess I would usually either check call and lead river or check raise and lead river. And after leading turn why no 3bet?

I definitely think it's better to 3-bet the turn here. There are some pretty bad cards that can come on the river for you here (esp. a low diamond). I might even 3bet shove on the turn.
